Naknor has a R & D team of 40 engineers and invests more than 3% of annual sales revenue into R & D.   8.89 million yuan was invested in 2019, accounting for 4.03% of revenue and made the research project proceed smoothly. Naknor has 2 national innovation fund projects, 5 provincial projects, 12 municipal projects and is awarded 6 invention patents, 60 utility model patents, 2 design patents and one software copyright. In 2012 “Battery Electrode Calender Machine” drafted by Naknor was approved as the standard of Hebei Province by Hebei Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (DB 13/T 1513—2012). Now Naknor is to draft National Standard of calender machine. The drafting of “General Technical Standard of Li-ion Battery Equipment (GB/T 38331-2019)” published in 2019 was also participated by Naknor. 
　　Naknor has close cooperation with Tsinghua University, Wuhan University of Technology, Yanshan University, Sinosteel, Hitachi (Japan). It has sound R & D equipment and platform e. g. Hebei Battery Press Machine Technological Innovation Center; Hebei Hot Press Engineering Laboratory.
